The Local 2806 should function like a clear backpack. You should be able to see what's going on with finances, elections, resources, concerns, communication, progress and status on initiatives...
As a dues paying member in good standing, you should not have to search, network, guess or hope to find the information and answers that matter to you.
Afterall, that's what "transparency" is all about.
